The Health Service Executive (HSE) is recruiting a Social Care Leader for Disability Services in Donegal. This permanent wholetime role offers the opportunity to support and lead high-quality care for service users across the region. Candidates from both HSE and non-HSE backgrounds are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate disability support services across assigned locations
• Ensure the delivery of person-centred, high-quality social care
• Supervise, mentor, and support social care staff
• Contribute to service planning, development, and continuous improvement
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with HSE policies
• Foster positive relationships with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Promote safeguarding, dignity, and independence for all service users
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Relevant qualification in Social Care or equivalent
• Experience working in disability or health and social care settings
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, HIQA standards, and HSE policies
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
