The Health Service Executive (HSE) Dublin and North East region is seeking a Staff Grade Speech and Language Therapist to join Connolly Hospital, Dublin. Key Responsibilities
• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions in individual and group settings.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals within the HSE network.
• Provide advice, support, and education to families, carers, and other professionals.
• Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to clinical supervision and continuous professional development.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
• CORU registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise effectively.
• Experience working in acute, community, or rehabilitation settings (desirable).
• Commitment to ongoing learning and evidence-based practice.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• HSE Staff Grade Speech and Language Therapist salary scale (1 August 2025) as per Department of Health Consolidated Pay Scales.
• Basic annual salary: approximately €42,000–€70,000 depending on experience.
