Job Overview
The Grade VI Application Specialist HSE role offers an exciting opportunity to join the MN-CMS National Back Office team in a permanent national position. This post plays a key leadership role in supporting and optimising back-office application systems within the Health Service Executive.
This internal campaign is open exclusively to employees of the HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agencies, or statutory health agencies in line with WRC Agreement 161867.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the delivery of MN-CMS National Back Office application services.
- Oversee system performance, optimisation, and user support across national services.
- Collaborate with ICT, operational, and clinical stakeholders to enhance system functionality.
- Ensure data integrity, compliance, and governance standards are maintained.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams.
- Support training, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to strategic planning and service development at national level.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Current employment within the HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agencies, or statutory health agencies.
- Relevant experience in ICT, systems administration, or healthcare application support.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships in a complex environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
- Knowledge of health service systems and governance requirements is desirable.
