Brothers of Charity Services Ireland are seeking committed Social Care Workers to support adults with intellectual disabilities across services in County Roscommon. These permanent, part-time roles focus on person-centred care, promoting independence, dignity, and community inclusion.

This opportunity is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants. While advertised by the HSE, the role is with a Section 38 publicly funded organisation and is not a direct HSE contract.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide person-centred social care support in line with individual care plans
• Promote independence, choice, dignity, and social inclusion
• Support daily living activities, personal care, and community engagement
• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate records and reports in line with policy
• Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and HIQA standards
• Engage positively with families, carers, and external agencies
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Recognised qualification at Level 7 or higher in Social Care or a related discipline
• CORU registration (or eligibility to register) as a Social Care Worker
• Experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities (desirable)
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of HIQA standards and person-centred practices
• Full clean driving licence may be required depending on service needs

• Salary in line with HSE Consolidated Salary Scales for Social Care Worker Grade 3029, as approved under Department of Health Circulars
