Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

Provide consultant-level psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children and adolescents
Lead and support multidisciplinary CAMHS teams in delivering high-quality care
Contribute to service development, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives
Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and allied health professionals
Collaborate with community services, schools, and other stakeholders
Ensure compliance with national clinical guidelines and regulatory standards
Participate in on-call duties and service planning as required

Required Skills & Qualifications

Registration as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
Extensive experience in child and adolescent mental health services
Strong leadership and clinical governance experience
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
Commitment to continuous professional development and service improvement
Access to transport is essential
