Sligo University Hospital is seeking motivated and flexible Multitask Attendants to join the healthcare support team. This role is part of a supplementary HSE recruitment campaign and is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants. Successful candidates will provide essential patient and client care support across a range of hospital departments.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality assistance in patient and client care settings
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in clinical and non-clinical areas
• Assist with portering duties, meal distribution, and general support tasks
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and efficient service delivery
• Undertake mandatory training and maintain compliance with HSE protocols
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Experience in a healthcare or support role is advantageous but not essential
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliability, flexibility, and commitment to patient-focused care
• Successful candidates must undertake a relevant Health Skills FETAC Level 5 qualification (MTA) if not already obtained
