The Health Service Executive (HSE) is seeking a Senior House Officer to join the Acute Medical Assessment Unit (AMAU) across Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda and Louth County Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for medical professionals looking to develop acute medicine experience in a busy clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality clinical care within the AMAU setting
• Assess, examine, and develop treatment plans for patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
• Participate in on-call and rostered duties as required
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support and contribute to continuous improvement and patient safety initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Full registration (or eligibility) with the Irish Medical Council
• Previous experience in an acute medical or hospital environment is desirable
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to maintaining professional standards and ongoing development
