The Health Service Executive (HSE) is inviting applications for the position of Social Care Worker (Grade Code 3029) within Disability Services in County Donegal. This is a permanent, wholetime role within the HSE West and North West region, offering an opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver person-centred support and social care to individuals with disabilities.
• Promote independence, dignity, and quality of life for service users.
• Implement individual care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in team meetings, supervision, and training activities.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with HSE policies and regulations.
• Contribute to safeguarding and welfare initiatives across Disability Services.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Recognised qualification in Social Care (QQI Level 7 or equivalent).
• Experience working in disability or social care services desirable.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to person-centred practice and continuous professional development.
• Understanding of HSE policies, safeguarding principles, and health & safety standards.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
As per the Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales effective 1 August 2025, the Social Care Worker (Grade Code 3029) salary range is €38,829–€54,705 per annum (including 1% increase under the Public Service Agreement 2024–2026).
