Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, evidence-based midwifery care to women and newborns

- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Promote health education and support informed decision-making
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and HSE clinical guidelines

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI), or eligibility to register
- Recognised midwifery qualification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Understanding of clinical governance and professional standards
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary Scale (Staff Midwife 2143):
€37,788 – €56,032 per annum (incremental scale), plus Long Service Increments (LSI) where applicable.
