Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership in paediatric resuscitation and sepsis management
- Coordinate and manage nursing services within the paediatric unit
- Ensure high standards of patient care and safety are consistently maintained
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits
- Support staff development, mentoring, and performance management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes
- Implement national policies and clinical guidelines within the service
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with NMBI registration
- Significant post-registration experience in paediatric nursing
- Proven leadership or management experience in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of paediatric resuscitation and sepsis protocols
- Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills
- Relevant management or leadership qualification (desirable)
- Commitment to continuous professional development
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary scale ranges from €62,078 to €78,443 per annum, depending on experience and point on the scale.
Permanent wholetime position with standard HSE working hours.
