Editorial policy

Our guides exist to answer real questions about working in Ireland — especially in the public sector — accurately and in plain English. This page explains how we source and maintain them.

Sourcing

• Pay-scale figures are taken from the current official circulars (for the HSE, the Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales) — never estimated or invented.
• Leave, pension and entitlement guidance is based on official HSE and public-service sources, with links to the primary source where possible.

Accuracy & “last verified” dates

Pay and entitlement figures go out of date when new agreements land. Where a guide shows a “last verified” date, it reflects the last time we checked the figures against the source. We re-verify when a new circular or agreement is published.

Corrections

If you spot something wrong or out of date, tell us at hello@jobvacancies.ie and we’ll correct it promptly. Job listings themselves come from employers and public feeds; the employer is responsible for the accuracy of their advert.

Independence

Guides are editorial and are not paid placements. Sponsored or featured job listings, where they appear, are labelled as such.
