About the Role
Corlann, the new name for Brothers of Charity Services Ireland, seeks a permanent full-time Administrator (Grade IV) for their Children’s Services in the West Region. The role is based in Corlann Offices, Renmore, Galway, with a potential for relocation due to service reorganisation. The Administrator will report to the Transport Manager, Children’s Sector Manager, or Children Service Coordinator. The position involves managing multiple concurrent tasks, maintaining confidentiality, and exercising good judgment. The role requires flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. The successful candidate will work 70 hours per fortnight, with a probationary period of nine months. A full, clean driving licence and use of a car are essential, with travel expenses reimbursed. The role involves supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism, and the organisation is committed to a person-centred approach.
Requirements
A recognised qualification in secretarial/administration/ECDL or equivalent is desirable. Proficiency in IT packages and fluency in English (spoken and written) are essential. The role requires 3-5 years of administrative experience in a busy office environment, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. The candidate must be IT literate with a strong working knowledge of MS Office.

The salary is €36,470–€56,018 per year, with increments and additional pay scales after specified periods. The position offers 26 days of annual leave.
