We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Basic Grade Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in Dublin South East (CHO6). We have full-time opportunities within our teams in Sandymount and Leopardstown.

Contract Type: Permanent Posts
Contract Hours: Full and Part Time Posts
Salary Scale: €42,384 - €61,945 rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments).
Annual Leave Entitlement: 32 days pro rata per annum and proportionately less for less than 12 months service.
Enable Ireland delivers children’s services through the Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNT) under the national Progressing Disabilities Services (PDS) model for children and young people with complex needs arising from a disability. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a range of Speech and Language Therapy services for young people (0 – 18 years) and their families within an interdisciplinary framework. Service will include assessment and intervention, clinical supervision and ongoing service development. This will be delivered through a family centred approach across a variety of settings including the clinic, preschools, schools, children’s homes and community settings.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
Essential Criteria:
- Be registered, or be eligible for registration, as a Speech and Language Therapist by the Speech and Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
- Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
- Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Speech and Language Therapist Register maintained by the Speech and Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
- Annual registration
- On appointment, practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Speech and Language Therapists Register maintained by the Speech and Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
- Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to Enable Ireland.
- Eligible to work in the State.
Desirable Criteria:
- Post graduate work experience as a Speech & Language Therapist.
- Experience of interdisciplinary team working.
- Experience working with children with disabilities and their families.
- Any relevant post graduate training specific to child disability services. e.g. Hanen, Lamh, PECS, ADOS, AT training.
- Experience in working with Assistive Technology.
- Post graduate experience in Feeding, Eating, Drinking and Swallowing (FEDS).
