About the Role
Cheshire Ireland is seeking energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join their team as Care Support Workers in the Southern Region of Ireland (Waterford, Cork, Kerry, Limerick). The role involves supporting people with physical, sensory, and neurological disabilities to meet their physical, psychological, and social care needs. The successful candidate will be passionate about engaging with the people they support daily and committed to high-quality, rights-based, person-centred service delivery.
The role requires a Full Manual Driving Licence and a QQI Level 5 Healthcare Major Award or an equivalent care-related qualification. Experience in supporting people with disabilities is essential. Candidates without qualifications but with relevant experience may be considered if they are willing to undertake and complete QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support within 18 months of starting the role. The role requires availability to work all shifts across a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week roster.
Requirements
- Full Manual Driving Licence
- QQI Level 5 Healthcare Major Award or an equivalent care-related qualification
- Experience in supporting people with disabilities
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
- Good standard of verbal and written English

- Computer literacy (experience with online care management systems an advantage)
