We are looking for an experienced and reliable Catering Assistants, in our Parnell Road Nursing Home, to provide excellent standards of cleaning for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within our organisation.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assisting the Chefs as required, cleaning and ensuring HAACP standards are complied with at all times.
- The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a kitchen.
- Load dishwasher after each serving on all floors, unloading once complete
- Deep clean twice daily on all floors
- Set tables for lunches and teatime on all floors at agreed times
- Lunch time (float)
- Transfer trolleys to and from kitchen in a timely manner in line with service needs
- Clean trolleys before and after each serving
- Stock check on all floors after each serving
- Rotate where necessary to meet the catering demands of the role as directed
Requirements
- Ability to commute/relocate: Dublin 17 D17YF77: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
- Education: Leaving Certificate (preferred)
- Experience: HACCP: 1 year (preferred), Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Language: English (required)
- Work authorisation: Ireland (required)
