About the Role
The National Orthopaedic Hospital at Cappagh (NOHC) is situated in Finglas, West Dublin. Established in 1908, we are the National Centre of Excellence in Orthopaedic Medicine, with over 600+ highly skilled staff, including 38 Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons. Each year, we treat more than 30,000 adult and paediatric patients expeditiously and efficiently. NOHC is home to: Adult Orthopaedic Services, Cappagh Kids, The Bone Tumour Centre, Centre for Rehabilitation, and The National Bone Bank.
Applications are invited from hardworking, flexible, team players for the position of: CHEF GRADE II SPECIFIED PURPOSE (3 YEARS) Full-time (5 over 6 roster).
Requirements
Applicants should:
- Have obtained a Professional Cookery award at minimum Level 6 on National Framework of Qualifications (HFQ) or equivalent maintained by the Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI).
- An understanding of Food Hygiene Regulations and Health & Safety.
- Have good organisational & time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong commitment to maintaining work standards and delivering a quality service to service users.
- A flexible working approach.
