About the Role
Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) is leading on the clinical and operational transformation of acute paediatric healthcare and consists of hospitals at Crumlin, Temple Street and Tallaght as well as an Urgent Care Centre at Connolly hospital in Blanchardstown.
The purpose of this post is to:
- Provide Art Therapy to Children affected by Child Sexual Abuse within an MDT setting.
- Communicate with and support the child’s family as needed.
The successful candidate may be required to work across CHI sites and services in line with organisational requirements and the development of the new children’s hospital and associated services.
Requirements
- Post Graduate Qualification in Child Art Psychotherapy/Art Therapy,
- Eligible for Accreditation with an appropriate accreditation body,
- Minimum 3 yrs clinical case work (can include 1 year in placement training.)
- Experience in working with Children who have experienced CSA, Abuse, Neglect and Trauma
