About the Role
The Office of Public Works (OPW) now requires the assistance of additional staff at Civil Engineering Technician Grade I level to support the flood risk management programme.
Main Duties of the Job
Successful candidate(s) will work across the OPW’s Flood Risk Management Divisions, and may be placed in either the Hydrometric Section, the Arterial Drainage Maintenance & Construction Section, or the Survey and Coastal Monitoring Section.
A panel will be formed to fill current and any future vacancies that may arise in OPW Regional Offices in Cork, Donegal, Dublin, Galway, Kilkenny, Limerick, Mayo, Meath, Sligo and Westmeath.

Indicative salary: €71,807–€80,581 per year (HSE Paramedicine Tutor (National Ambulance Service) national pay scale, effective Jun 2026)
