Integrated Healthcare Area Sligo Leitrim is responsible for the delivery of Primary and Community-based Services to meet the needs of local communities. Community healthcare services are a broad range of services, which, are provided outside of the acute hospital system and include Primary Care, Social Care, Mental Health, and Health and Wellbeing Services. These services are delivered through the HSE and its funded agencies to people in local communities, as close as possible to people’s homes.

Location of Post: Mental Health Services, Community Healthcare Sligo/Leitrim. The base location is First Floor, Nazareth House, CAMHS Service, Church Hill, Sligo. There is currently one permanent whole-time vacancy available.

A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Clinical Co-ordinator, CAMHS from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.

About the Role

CAMHS provides specialist multidisciplinary assessment and intervention for children and young people under 18 years presenting with moderate to severe mental health difficulties. The Clinical Co-ordinator post will support the safe and effective functioning of the CAMHS team through coordinated referral management, waiting-list oversight, multidisciplinary liaison, clinical governance processes and service-development activity.

This is a key operational and clinical coordination post within CAMHS, supporting referral management, waiting-list oversight, multidisciplinary team working, governance processes and service development across the relevant service area.
