About the Role
The Mater Misericordiae University Hospital is seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM 1) to join the Emergency Department and Trauma Reception Unit. The role involves clinical and professional leadership and development in the nursing team, including the development of advanced clinical skills, in-service training, orientation of new staff, and arranging for clinical experience and supervision of student nurses. The CNM 1 will be responsible for the education, professional development, and mentoring of staff to ensure they meet the required competency to deliver on the agreed standards for patients accessing care via the Emergency Department pathway. The role requires working over a 24/7 period and reporting to the CNM 2 shift leader operationally, and to the CNM3 in charge of the ED department.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a Nursing Degree, experience in Emergency Nursing, and Nursing Leadership skills. Fluency in English is required.
