About the Role
Avista is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 for St. Louise’s Centre, Dublin 20. This is a permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours per week) with a salary of €62,699–€79,227. The role involves supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families in a person-centred, community-based, socially inclusive manner. The successful candidate will work on an innovative new Senior Living project, shaping high-quality supports for older adults with intellectual disabilities.
Requirements
Essential criteria include:
- NMBI Registration, RNID desirable.
- Recognised Management Qualification FETAC/QQI Level 6 or equivalent.
- Full Clean Driving Licence.
- Proficiency in the English language.
- Previous experience at CNM1 level/equivalent within the area of Intellectual Disability.
- Ability to work effectively with families and the wider MDT.
- Detailed knowledge of the HIQA standards / regulations and Health Act 2007, and the role of the person in charge.
- Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to work on own initiative and effectively lead change.
Desirable criteria include:
- Experience of working with older adults with Intellectual Disabilities and complex care needs.
- Experience supporting and mentoring staff teams in the delivery of high-quality care to the people we support.
- Level 2 behavioural competencies as set out in the Job description.
