Covering childhood to adulthood our expert teams work with the individual and their family on a plan for each life stage. Our services for children and their families cover all aspects of a child's physical, educational, and social development from early infancy through adolescence. For adults we offer a range of services covering personal development, independent living, supported employment, social and leisure activities. We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM1) to join our team in CHO 7 Adult Services Crumlin Rialto and Tallaght.
To provide clinical leadership and operational support across Adult Day Services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred, evidence-based nursing care to adults with physical and sensory disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Intellectual Disability.
The post holder will support nursing staff, promote best clinical practice, oversee clinical governance and quality improvement, and work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective and responsive services in line with Enable Ireland's ethos, New Directions and professional standards
Contract Type: Permanent Part-time (0.8 WTE)
Contract Hours: 30 hrs per week
Requirements
Essential Criteria:
- A recognised validated University Degree or an equivalent qualification in Nursing.
- Registered in the relevant division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI].
- At least 3 years post registration fulltime experience (or an aggregate of 3 years post registration full time experience) of which 1 year post registration full time experience (or an aggregate of 1 years post registration full time experience) must be in working with children with disabilities, (physical disability, autism, learning disability) and their families.
- Clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
- On appointment, Practitioners must maintain live annual registration on the relevant division of the Register of Nurses and Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
- Eligible to work in the state.
- Hold full clean drivers licence and willingness to drive service vehicles.
