Clinical Nurse Manager II in Wicklow

About the Role

Enable Ireland provides services to over 13,000 children and adults with disabilities and their families from 43 locations in 14 counties. The Clinical Nurse Manager II will work as part of the Dublin Children’s Services, providing a quality, evidence-based service to children and young people 0 – 18 years within an interdisciplinary framework and family-centered practice. The aim is to provide a unified national approach to delivering disability health services so that each child has a clear pathway to the services they need, regardless of where they live, what school they attend or the nature of their disability or delay.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• A recognised validated University Degree or an equivalent qualification in Intellectual Disability/ General or Children’s Nursing.
• Registered in the relevant division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI] (Bord Altranais agus Cnaimhseachais na hEireann) or entitled to be so registered.
• At least 5 years post registration experience (or an aggregate of 5 years full-time post registration experience) of which 2 years must be in the area of children’s disability.
• The clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
• Demonstrated evidence of continuous professional development.
• Eligible to work in the State.

Location: Wicklow, Ireland

Contract Type: Permanent, part-time post (0.8 WTE) working in the Bray location.

Salary: €59,410 – €70,645 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments).

Annual Leave Entitlement: 34 days pro rata per annum and proportionately less for less than 12 months service. This may increase in line with experience, as per INMO guidelines on annual leave.

Indicative salary (HSE Ambulance Service District Operations Manager national pay scale, effective Jun 2026): €60,916–€79,189 per year.
