We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Homecare Services team, working across our Listowel and Askeaton offices, with the opportunity for remote working where appropriate.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced nurse looking for excellent work-life balance and daytime hours, while continuing to use their clinical knowledge and experience in a rewarding community-based role.
Working as part of our Homecare Services team, you will provide clinical governance, quality oversight and professional guidance to support the safe and effective delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in clients' homes.
Your role will include:
- Completing client assessments and reassessments
- Providing clinical guidance and support to care staff
- Overseeing standards and quality of care delivery
- Supporting safeguarding, infection prevention and clinical governance
- Working closely with Client Care Coordinators, Scheduling and HR
- Liaising with clients, families and healthcare professionals
- Supporting staff induction and competency assessment where required
- Ensuring appropriate clinical documentation and compliance with relevant standards, policies and procedures
The position involves working between our Listowel and Askeaton offices, attending clients within the relevant service areas as required, with flexibility to work remotely for suitable aspects of the role.
Requirements
You will be a Registered Nurse with:
- Active NMBI registration
- Ideally 5 years' post-registration nursing experience
- Strong clinical judgement and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A good understanding of safeguarding and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Full driving licence and access to own transport
Experience in homecare, community, residential, older persons or disability services would be an advantage.

Hours: Monday to Friday | 9:30am–2:30pm
