About the Role

Lidl is recruiting a Deputy Store Manager for its Cranmore Road store in Sligo. This is a full-time retail management opportunity for an experienced manager who enjoys leading teams, working in a fast-paced environment and delivering excellent customer service. As Deputy Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store while helping to manage, motivate and develop the store team. You will also play an important role in achieving KPIs, maintaining stock levels and ensuring high standards across the shop floor.

Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • A completed Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • A minimum of 2 years' management experience in a fast-paced environment
  • A full driving licence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to lead and motivate a team
  • A passion for working in a busy and varied environment
  • The ability to work towards targets and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to work varying shift patterns

Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager is preferred but is not essential if you have the right attitude and relevant management experience.

Location: Cranmore Road, Sligo, F91 EY0C. The position offers a salary of €51,000 per year, rising to €60,000 after 3 years. The closing date for applications is 31 August 2026 at 10:00 AM.
