About the Role
HSE Dublin and South East has been formed as part of the Slaintecare programme. The health region is responsible for the delivery of acute and community healthcare across South Dublin, Wicklow, Wexford, Waterford, Carlow, Kilkenny and South Tipperary.
There is currently one permanent whole-time vacancy available with the below location:
Primary Location: SSIDS Admin Junction House, Tallaght and Secondary Location: Aisling House, Maynooth
No travel time or payment applies to going from home to either base location.

- What are the key duties of the Catering Officer, Grade II?
- The Catering Officer, Grade II will be responsible for the provision of a high quality catering to all residents, Day Care Clients and staff, develop good customer relations, be responsible for the organisation of catering facilities, cleaning and set up, and specialised diets, liaise between residents, clients, staff and allied health care professionals, ensure catering services are operated within budget and quality control, participate in internal audits, attend local management team meetings, Nutritional Committee meetings and Health and Safety IQRS, organise and cost the provisions for special functions, order and liaise with suppliers, participate in the review of all supplies, equipment and cleaning of the Catering Department, ensure standards are met in respect of HIQA Nutrition and Hydration guidelines, cleaning and Infection, Prevention and Control, and liaise with Environmental Health Officer and all inspections and actions that may be identified.
