About the Role
HSE Dublin and South East has been formed as part of the Slaintecare programme. The health region is responsible for the delivery of acute and community healthcare across South Dublin, Wicklow, Wexford, Waterford, Carlow, Kilkenny and South Tipperary.
There is currently one permanent whole-time vacancy available and this post can be located in either Kilkenny or Carrickmines DSE Offices.
This is subject to regular availability for regional and national meetings as the role demands.
The Post Holder will lead on the implementation of the Integrated Financial Management System, process optimisation, and transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, consistency, and controls across HSE Dublin and South-East Region.
The role focuses on driving finance reform, enhancing system capabilities, and embedding standardised processes, particularly across Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order to Cash (OTC) and IFMS environments.
The post-holder will act as a key leader in change management and continuous improvement, ensuring that systems and processes evolve to meet business needs while supporting high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
Candidates must have at the latest date of application:
- Significant Experience in the implementation of financial systems, ERP systems, IFMS or equivalent large-scale business systems in a large complex organisation to include a minimum of 4 years, in a healthcare setting with multiple stakeholders.
- Evidence of contributing to process improvement, compliance improvement or change management in a complex environment.
- Significant experience in a finance, governance, compliance, controls, assurance, reporting, business management role within a large complex organisation.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders across finance, operations, service management, procurement or business support functions.
- Strong Excel and data-handling skills, including the ability to work with spreadsheets, reports, databases and system extracts.
- Minimum of NFQ Level 8 Degree in Business
