About the Role
The Bridge House Hotel is a family-owned four-star hotel in the heart of Tullamore, County Offaly, located less than 90 minutes from Dublin, Limerick, and Galway. The hotel boasts 70 luxurious bedrooms, 4 unique dining areas, a relaxing spa, a leisure club with an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor hydrotherapy pool, a fitness gym, a steam room, and a sauna.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and people-focused Events and Sales Executive to join our friendly Events Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with people, enjoys planning memorable events and weddings.
Requirements
- 2 years previous experience in weddings, events, sales, or hospitality (preferably in a 4-star hotel)
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Commercially aware with a positive can-do attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Sales-driven with a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in hotel management or event software (e.g. Hotsoft or similar)
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or related field
- Knowledge of Irish wedding traditions and local suppliers
- Experience working in a family-owned or boutique hotel environment
