About the Role
The Hotel Reception Supervisor is responsible for supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the Front Office while delivering an exceptional guest experience. Working closely with the Front Office Manager and wider management team, the Reception Supervisor will lead and support the Reception team, ensuring high standards of service, professionalism and attention to detail are maintained at all times.
Requirements
Previous experience in a hotel Reception/Front Office role is essential. Previous supervisory experience within a hotel environment is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of Front Office and hotel operations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership and team-management abilities. Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality. Confident dealing with guest complaints and challenging situations. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills. Good attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Experience using hotel PMS systems and general computer systems. Strong cash-handling and administrative skills. Professional, positive and approachable attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
