Corlann is the new name for Brothers of Charity Services Ireland. Corlann provides services to more than 6,000 people each year who have an intellectual disability, including those who also have autism. To be a member of the Facilities team, providing services from routine maintenance to site expansions, support to the Buildings & Facilities Department. The successful candidate will work closely with staff in all departments across Corlann West, in addition to working with external agencies. Requirements
Qualifications:
- • QQI Level 8 in Facilities Management or equivalent in a construction discipline.
- • A recognised qualification in administration e.g. ECDL Qualification or equivalent, is desirable.
- • A full clean Irish driving licence & use of own car is an essential requirement of this post.
Experience:
- • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Facilities/Maintenance role with responsibility for site and equipment maintenance, vendor management, and paperwork.
- • Experience of working with people with intellectual disabilities is an advantage.
Skills and attributes:
- • Excellent communication skills
- • Knowledge of construction details and M&E Services
- • Excellent organisational skills
- • IT skills in particular MS word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams, CAD
- • Touch typing

Salary: €48,251–€74,805 per year

Working Hours: 35 hours per week based on a 5-day duty roster. Contracted hours of work are liable to change between the hours of 8am and 8pm to meet the requirements of the service. The Corlann model of service is based on Personal Outcome Measures requiring employees to be flexible in their working hours to provide a quality service delivery for each individual.
Annual Leave: 28 days per annum.
Travel/Base: The travel base for this purpose will be the Corlann Offices, Mart Road, Roscommon Town, Co. Roscommon. This may be subject to change in the future. Travel to service locations throughout the region is a requirement of this role, and the post holder may be required to work from an alternative work location from time to time.
