Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the operation of the switch board and redirect calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintaining an organised, neat and tidy office
- Providing secretarial support for managers where needed
- Proficient use of word, email, internet, excel, power point, photocopier, franking machine, fax machine and other office equipment.
- Completing all the paperwork involved in admitting and discharging Residents
- Imputing residents’ details files to ensure all are up to date
- Receiving and recording cash receipts. Issuing receipts to customers
- Refer any queries regarding bed vacancies to the relevant manager
- Filing residents’ details and archiving old files
- Ordering any supplies using the Company purchasing system
- Co-ordinate complaints handling and compliance with Complaints policy
Requirements
- QQI/FETAC qualification OR relative experience in a similar environment.
- Prior experience as a receptionist or in related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Professional, caring and empathetic nature.
- Be comfortable working in a sometimes, challenging environment.
