About the Role

ChildVision is Ireland’s only dedicated national service for children and young adults with visual impairments and additional disabilities, offering a comprehensive range of supports designed to help each individual reach their full potential. Services include specialised education, residential care, and clinical therapies such as occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, physiotherapy, and psychological support. The organisation also provides assistive technology, braille literacy, and a national reading service that transcribes educational materials into accessible formats like braille, large print, and digital files.

Equine-assisted activities are available through a state-of-the-art indoor facility, and the Pathways programme supports young adults aged 18–23 in developing life skills and independence. Early years services focus on developmental milestones, while term-time residential options offer a nurturing environment for students aged 10–23 to grow socially and emotionally. Every service is tailored to meet the unique needs of each child, ensuring they have the tools and support to thrive with dignity and confidence.
