About the Role
Dovida is hiring a Healthcare Assistant in Elphin, County Roscommon, with full-time, part-time and permanent options available. Paying €14.65–€17.00 per hour with the freedom to choose your own shifts each week, this is a flexible community-based care role suited to both experienced carers and complete beginners — full training and shadowing are provided.
Role Overview
As a Healthcare Assistant with Dovida, you will deliver person-centred care to clients in the community, supported by a dedicated Dovida consultant who matches you with the right roles across a wide variety of HSE and private healthcare settings. You choose the shifts and facilities that suit your lifestyle, gaining valuable experience across the healthcare sector while building a rewarding care career. No previous care experience is required — Dovida’s in-house training team supports you every step of the way, including shadowing to build your confidence in delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care to clients with dignity and respect

Requirements
- Fluent spoken English
- Eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland
- Located in or able to travel within the local area
- No previous care experience required — full training, shadowing and QQI Level 5 enrolment support provided
Salary & Benefits
€14.65–€17.00 per hour, paid weekly at premium rates. Expected hours range from 1 to 40 per week depending on your availability and chosen shift pattern.
