About the Role
We are seeking a caring and committed Healthcare Assistant to join our dynamic and supportive team at Marymount University Hospital & Hospice. As an essential member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to our residents and patients.

- Assist with a range of personal care tasks

Requirements
Essential criteria:
- A relevant health skills QQI (formerly FETAC) Level 5 qualification OR an equivalent relevant healthcare qualification as outlined in the QQI NARIC Ireland framework
- A minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Healthcare Assistant or in a comparable role
- Personal competence and capacity to properly discharge the duties of the role
Relevant QQI Level 5 qualifications include:
- QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support
- QQI Level 5 Nursing Studies
- QQI Level 5 Community Care
- QQI Level 5 Health Service Skills
- QQI Level 5 Community Health Services
Desirable:
- Experience in a specialised palliative care setting
