About the Role
CareChoice Trim Nursing Home in Co. Meath is seeking full-time Healthcare Assistants to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive, multi-cultural environment alongside experienced healthcare professionals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting nursing staff in providing high-quality, holistic care to residents.
- Maintaining residents' hygiene and personal care needs to the highest standards while preserving their dignity.
- Assisting residents with eating, drinking, and mobilising as appropriate.
- Escorting or transferring residents as directed by nursing staff.
- Assisting in End of Life Care.
- Performing any other duties deemed necessary by nurse and management.
Shift patterns: Days, nights, and weekends, across Monday to Sunday.
Requirements
- QQI/FETAC qualification OR relevant experience in a similar environment.
- Practical experience in a caring capacity is desired.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Professional, caring, and empathetic nature.
- Comfortable working in a sometimes challenging environment.
- Good level of English language skills.
