About the Role
The primary purpose of this post is to be responsible for providing a high quality, patient-focussed echocardiography service for GP-referred patients to the Mid-West Chronic Disease Hubs and to the Cardiology Services, University Hospital Limerick Group. The service will be delivered under the clinical and governance framework of the Cardiology Service in the University Hospital Limerick Group. The Senior Cardiac Physiologist will also support cardiac investigations and interventions in the University Hospital Limerick Group and will be expected to work as part of the University Hospital Limerick Group Integrated Care Cardiology Team. The post holder will also be expected to perform all cardiac investigations or other duties deemed appropriate to their position, coupled with supporting the Chief II Physiologist in providing and developing a busy service.
