Locum Relief Support Worker (Care Assistant), South Tipperary (Clonmel, Cashel, Cahir, Tipperary Town, Carrick-on-Suir).

Exciting new opportunity for Students studying Social Care, Nursing, or any relevant third level healthcare qualification. We are offering flexible Locum Relief Support Worker contracts to students who are in the 2nd, 3rd or 4th years of their qualification (must be in a relevant field - i.e. Health/Social Care, or similar). With a Locum Relief Support Worker contract, you will be able to work and gain valuable experience, while having the flexibility to continue to attend college and complete your qualification.

The role of a Support Worker. Support Workers provide a key-working caring role for a group of People Supported by the Services. They are responsible for all aspects of personal care required during the day. This includes meals, personal hygiene and other related aspects of physical well-being. Secondly, a major focus of the Support Worker role is to assist and support People Supported by the Services with the development of their Individual Plans and achievement of associated outcomes. In addition, a critical component of this role is to support People Supported by the Services in community participation and integration.
