Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, compassionate and person-centred nursing care to residents.
  • Promote residents’ independence, dignity, comfort and quality of life.
  • Support individual care needs in partnership with residents, families and the wider care team.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of resident care.
  • Follow professional nursing standards, organisational policies and relevant regulatory requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A recognised nursing qualification.
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
  • Previous experience in elder care is desirable, with one or more years of experience preferred, although applications from other suitably qualified nurses are welcome.
  • A cheerful, caring, positive, dependable and compassionate approach to working with older people.
  • Ability to successfully complete Garda vetting requirements.
  • Suitable character references.
  • Fluent English.
  • EU/EEA citizenship or an existing unrestricted right to work in Ireland, due to the immediate service requirement of the role.
