About the Role

Kerry Parents and Friends Association is a voluntary organisation committed to the delivery of life-enhancing services and supports, responding to the needs, wishes, and choices of people with an intellectual disability, connected to support networks in their communities. Kerry Parents and Friends Association was established in 1973 as a support to families of people with an intellectual disability. The Association provides community-based Day, Residential, and Support Services for more than 250 adults.

We are looking for an energetic and compassionate Nurse to join our dedicated team in providing high quality care for adults with Intellectual Disabilities. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting individuals in achieving independence and improving their quality of life. As a Nurse in our service, you will play a key role in delivering holistic, person centred care, ensuring the physical, emotional, and social well being of the individuals we support. You will work closely with a team and adhere to professional guidelines set by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) and the policies and protocols of the Association.

Requirements

Qualified General/Intellectual Disability/Mental Health Nurse and be registered with the NMBI. IT proficiency to support daily administrative tasks. Applicants must have the necessary authorisation to work in Ireland and will be asked to provide supporting documentation during the recruitment process.
