Purchasing Officer - Grade IV in Dublin

About the Role

St. Michael’s House provides a comprehensive range of services and supports to men, women, and children with disabilities and their families in 170 locations in the greater Dublin Area. It supports 1,953 people and this has an impact on thousands of family members. St. Michael’s House is a company funded by the Health Service Executive (HSE), TUSLA and the Department of Education and Skills. (Figures from 1st May 2021).

St. Michael’s House supports include; Residential supports and Independent living, Clinical supports, Day supports, Schools, Respite supports and Vocational training services.

The Purchasing Officer will support the delivery of purchasing operations within the IFMS framework, ensuring that all transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with financial controls.

Requirements

A Third level degree in Finance or relevant field. Experience using financial systems or ERP systems [e.g. IFMS, SAP, Business Central]. Experience in finance, purchasing, or accounts payable. Previous administrative experience. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organisational skills. Ability to work in a high-volume processing environment. Customer service orientation. Good IT skills, including experience with systems and data entry. Ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to support peak workload periods [e.g. go-live / hypercare phase]. Commitment to high standards of service delivery. Undertake additional tasks as directed by management.

Details

Location: Ballymun Road, Dublin, Ireland. Full-time, Fixed Term Contract (six months). Salary: €36,470–€56,018 per year. Closing date: 4 Sept 2026 4:00 PM. Fluent English.
