Since Catherine opened the first O’Sullivan’s pharmacy on South Douglas Road, we’ve expanded to 7 locations across Cork with our flagship store standing proudly in the Wilton Shopping Centre. Our pharmacies are an integral part of the communities in Wilton, Bishopstown, Grange, Frankfield, Douglas, and Ballinlough.

We’re Hiring: Permanent Pharmacy Technician – Grange, Cork. Full-Time • No Sundays • No Bank Holidays. O’Sullivan’s Pharmacy Grange is now recruiting a Permanent Pharmacy Technician to join our busy, friendly dispensary. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants a stable, rewarding role in a community-focused pharmacy.

What Makes This Role Stand Out. Full-time, permanent position 39 hours per week. (5 days per week). 9am–6pm 4 days with one late night 1pm to 9pm on the 5th day. Every second Saturday only. Your Key Responsibilities. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient running of our dispensary: Receive and verify written prescriptions with accuracy and attention to detail. Maintain proper storage, security, and stock rotation of medicines. Ensure all medicines are in date and fit for supply. Answer telephone & text queries and support customers with professionalism. Dispense medications accurately in line with prescriber and pharmacist instructions. File completed prescriptions and maintain organised records. Assist with cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas. Safely accept and dispose of returned medicines. Maintain patient profiles and medication histories. Manage dispensary stock levels, ordering, and supplier communication. Receive and check incoming deliveries. Prepare extemporaneous products as required. Complete all HSE end-of-month paperwork and claims procedures. Follow all company policies and procedures. Deliver exceptional customer service and always put patient needs first.
