About the Role
Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) is leading on the clinical and operational transformation of acute paediatric healthcare and consists of hospitals at Crumlin, Temple Street and Tallaght as well as an Urgent Care Centre at Connolly hospital in Blanchardstown.
The purpose of this post is to implement and manage CHI’s quality and patient safety programme, with responsibility for a number of individual programmes as well as for coordinating quality and patient safety activities with colleagues managing other QPS programmes in line with CHI’s strategic and operational priorities.

Requirements
- Academic qualification in healthcare, quality, patient safety or related field at a minimum of Level 6 on the Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) framework
- OR
- A professional qualification in a health-related area
- Previous relevant experience in programme management, patient safety and/or quality improvement in a healthcare setting
- Able to work across a wide portfolio with multiple concurrent projects and tasks to be prioritised and completed within required timeframes
