About the Role
Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) is leading on the clinical and operational transformation of acute paediatric healthcare and consists of hospitals at Crumlin, Temple Street and Tallaght as well as an Urgent Care Centre at Connolly hospital in Blanchardstown.
The post holder will ensure the effective running of the Radiology Administration service in CHI Tallaght and Connolly. The post holder will support the Radiology team in maintaining a responsive and high-quality service that adheres to CHI policies and standards.
Requirements
Essential Criteria:
- Achieved Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification comparable to another jurisdiction or hold a comparable and relevant third level qualification of at least QQI Level 6 on the National Framework.
- Have at least 5 years’ administrative experience with a minimum of 2 years’ Radiology experience.
- Ability to communicate fluently, both written and orally.
- Ability to demonstrate experience of team supervision.
Desirable Criteria:
- Diploma in Healthcare Management or equivalent third level qualification.
- A thorough working knowledge of non-Radiology hospital information systems which should include patient administration systems.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the following programmes: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
