Corlann provides services to more than 6,000 people each year who have an intellectual disability, including those who also have autism. Our aim is always to provide, as far as possible, personalised supports that empower people to identify and achieve their own life goals, and to live as valued, equal, and active citizens in their communities.

The Regional New Directions Coordinator will provide leadership and support in embedding New Directions principles across adult day services within Corlann South East. The post holder will support the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of New Directions, promoting a culture of person-centred, rights-based practice, quality improvement and meaningful community inclusion.

Working closely with managers, staff teams, people supported, families and advocates, the role will support the delivery of innovative, responsive and outcome-focused services that maximise individual choice, independence, participation and social inclusion. The post holder will ensure compliance with New Directions Interim Standards, support the effective use of the EASI Tool and promote high-quality person-centred planning and service development.

The Regional New Directions Coordinator will facilitate consultation forums, feedback mechanisms and participation opportunities to ensure that the voices of people supported, families and advocates inform service development, evaluation and continuous improvement.
