About the Role

This position is responsible for daily activity of the prepping and scanning the client data under the supervision of the Scanning & Cataloguing Supervisor. This role works a shift pattern, either 6am to 2.30pm OR 2.30pm to 11pm, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of items for scanning and rebuilding of files post scan.
  • Inputting data in an accurate manner
  • Use of our Scanning technology which includes the physical scanner as well as support software.
  • Completing scanning log sheets in conjunction with daily work undertaken.
  • Accurately undertaking manual indexing duties in conjunction with items digitisation ensuring that documents are searchable for customers.
  • File reconciliation will be completed post digitisation
  • Assist management in ensuring that all jobs are undertaken and completed in accordance with relevant specified instructions, procedures, and client contracts/requirements.
  • Assist management in ensuring compliance of prepping & scanning operations with specific procedures and standards for quality, health, safety, housekeeping, and information/data security.
  • Working directly with the on-site client team regarding the daily work.
  • Checking daily work, Quality Assurance 100% for some jobs. Note that all scanning tasks will require completing in accordance with the BS10008:2014 quality standard.
  • Use initiative to identify any improvements or efficiencies.
  • Provide support for other areas within the business as required.
  • Comply with all company policies and all relevant data protection legislation to ensure our clients and team members’ sensitive and personal information is protected and processed in accordance with the law.
  • Our team members’ and clients’ rights under the legislation are protected and treated with the utmost respect and integrity.
  • Report any potential or actual security, environmental or health and safety incidents to your line manager and / or the OASIS Compliance team as soon as you become aware of them.
