About the Role
Acquired Brain Injury Ireland is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Clinical Psychologist to join their dynamic team in Donegal. The role involves supporting individuals living with an acquired brain injury to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives. Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, shaping personalised rehabilitation programmes, and collaborating with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. The contract is permanent, part-time, 17.5 hours per week, with a salary range of €94,962–€111,622 per year, pro-rated based on full-time hours.
Key duties include delivering tailored psychological assessments, therapies, and interventions, collaborating on service planning, mentoring staff, supporting residential services, working with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining accurate clinical records.
Requirements
Candidates must have a full driving licence, a university degree or diploma (QQI level 8 equivalent) in Psychology, and an Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland. Equivalent qualifications from other jurisdictions validated by the Department of Health are also acceptable. Applicants must have at least five years of satisfactory post-graduate experience in professional psychology, with no more than three years spent gaining the postgraduate qualification and at least two years of full-time post-qualification experience. Experience in working with adults with an acquired brain injury, positive behaviour support, and neuropsychological assessments is preferred.
