About the Role
Corlann, formerly known as Brothers of Charity Services Ireland, is seeking a Senior Community Facilitator for their Hyde Adult Services in Roscommon Town, Kilteevan, Athleague, and Tremane/Rahara. This permanent, part-time role involves supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism, empowering them in their daily living and personal goal achievement. The successful candidate will work 70 hours per fortnight, with flexible hours between 8am and 8pm, and may be required to transfer to other locations as needed. The role is pensionable and offers 22 days of annual leave (pro-rata).
Requirements
Candidates must have a QQI Level 7 qualification relevant to the social care sector, therapy assistant, community development, or creative arts, and at least 2-3 years of experience in designing and implementing programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities. A full clean manual driving license and proficiency in IT skills are essential. Fluency in English, good teamwork skills, and a person-centered approach are also required. The role involves supporting individuals with their personal outcome measures and implementing quality initiatives in day services. A panel may be formed for future appointments within the Hyde Services over the next 6 months.
