Are you an experienced paediatric dietitian looking for an opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of children, young people and their families?

The Central Remedial Clinic is seeking a Senior Dietitian to join our specialist paediatric services in Clontarf. Working as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team, you will provide a comprehensive, person-centred dietetic service to children and young people aged 0 to 18 years with disabilities, complex medical needs, nutritional needs and feeding difficulties.

  • Develop, implement and monitor individualised care plans in partnership with children, young people, families and carers.
  • Support children with complex feeding issues, including oral-motor dysfunction, avoidant or restrictive food intake presentations and complex enteral feeding regimens.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, integrated and family-centred care.
  • Provide expert advice, guidance and education to dietetic colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development of policies, clinical care pathways and evidence-based resources.
  • Participate in clinical audit, research, quality improvement and service development initiatives.
  • Support the education, induction, supervision and mentoring of colleagues and student dietitians.
  • Manage and prioritise a specialist clinical caseload in line with service and departmental requirements.
