Covering childhood to adulthood our expert teams work with the individual and their family on a plan for each life stage. Our services for children and their families cover all aspects of a child's physical, educational, and social development from early infancy through adolescence. We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Senior Speech and Language Therapist/Practice Tutor to join our team in Dublin South East (CHO6). We have full time and part time opportunities within our team in Dublin.
To work as a senior member of Children’s Disability Network Team providing services to children and families within the region, taking a family-centred approach in an interdisciplinary context.
Requirements
Essential Criteria:
- Hold professional registration on the Speech & Language Therapist Register maintained by the by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
- Have 3 years’ full time (or an aggregate of 3 years’ full time) post qualification clinical experience.
- Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
- Provide proof of statutory registration on the Speech & Language Therapist Register maintained by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
- Experience supervising speech and language therapy students.
- Eligible to work in the State.

- Demonstrate a developed professional reasoning and behaviour with a clear understanding of the role of the Speech & Language Therapist working within the disability sector.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the models of interdisciplinary team working.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the social model of disability and a person centred approach in the delivery of services to people with disabilities.
- Understanding and knowledge of Enable Ireland services.
- Understanding and knowledge of clinical support and supervision.
- Evidence and commitment to continuous professional development.
Details
Contract Type: Permanent Post
Contract Hours: Full time and Part time Posts.
Salary Scale: €62,072 – €73,477 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments).
Annual Leave Entitlement: 33 days pro rata per annum and proportionately less for less than 12 months service.
