About the Role

Roscommon University Hospital is recruiting for a Senior House Officer, General Surgery for the January 2027 NCHD Rotation. This is a temporary full-time role based in the General Surgery Department, Roscommon University Hospital. The contract will run for six months, from 11th January 2027. The hospital is a Model 2 Hospital and part of the HSE West and North West health region. It includes a walk-in Injury Unit, a Medical Assessment Unit, and an eight-bed inpatient Palliative Care Support Unit.

Fluent English is required. The role is open to external applicants.

Details

The role is located in Roscommon, Ireland. The salary is €54,203–€74,133 per year. The closing date for applications is 9am on Wednesday, 28th October 2026.
